In August, another DVD will be released featuring more hit songs including Shinhwa’s “Deep Sorrow,” Lee Dong-gun’s “Hoping that My Wind Touches That Sky,” Fly to the Sky’s “Missing You,” Brown Eyes’ “Already a Year” and SG WannaBe’s “Crime and Punishment.”
It’s official, Ayumi Hamasaki has surpassed all other Asian female solo artists–having the most singles sold over the course of her career. The record was set after her latest single “Blue Bird” entered the Oricon music charts at No. 1, selling just over 180,000 copies at the time of this writing. With the single in Oricon’s top spot, Ayumi will be breaking another record as well, having more No. 1 singles than any Japanese female in history. She’s still in the early stages of her career, so these records will be quite interesting to watch in the coming years.
One of Japan’s hottest boy bands, W-inds, have arrived in Viet Nam to take part in the Viet Nam-Japan Music Gala This Peace, We Have Dreamed this weekend.
At a press conference in the capital yesterday, W-inds three members’ Ryohei Chiba, Keita Tachibana, and Ryuichi Ogata said they were very happy to be taking part in the concert, which cheers 35 years of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Japan (September 21). The event will be hosted at the National Convention Centre Ha Noi tonight and the Hoa Binh Theatre in HCM City tomorrow night.
The show will be a good opportunity to bolster ties between the two countries, Goodwill Ambassador to Viet Nam, singer Sugi Ryotaro said. Ryotaro will also perform at the show, along with other Japanese stars including Godai Natsuko, Akikawa Masafumi, Rimi Nastukawa and Shimatani Hitomi.
Can you believe?! Big Band is actually doing something good to the Environment. It’s so disbelieving. They are supposed to be the Bad Boy, and now they doing charity so not Big Band Style. OMG! What are they thinking? This is so not cool. I mean I know that they are trying to change their image but please don’t change their style. It’s way out of their reach. I LOV BIG BAND A LOT. Espeacially their Musics, it’s so stylish and daring. Just to show you I LOV THEM, here are the MVs.
